 why haven't these Always been? Dec 06, 2007
I've been using my superknife for about a year now, and I've given several as gifts in that time. This makes for a great work knife, because I don't have to worry about taking good care of the blade. I use it till it's too dull, or I've gotten epoxy or something all over it and then flip or change the blade. Uses a very sturdy mechanism. both the fold lock and the blade lock are secure. This brand claims to be the originator of this design, but you can find lots of other ones now. Of all the ones I've bought for my crews, this has the best blade mechanism. Excellent product, everyone who sees me using it asks where to get one.

I have had just about all of these kind of knives. I have had this knife for about 3 weeks. Put it through some tough test on cardboard boxes. The quick change blade is a plus. It makes changing blades a snap. So far it works very good. I worry about stability of the blade being held in with a spring. I have not had any problems yet. Time will tell.
